SUNHA JI EUN TALLAKSON
Lead singer. Rhythm guitar/Lead guitar. Violinist. Songwriter.
A fellow Self Storage co-founder with Christian, Sunha brings a searing intensity onstage with her singular voice. Whether she’s flashing her guitar or violin, she’s equally dedicated to each and to the moment.
CHRISTIAN MISVAER
Lead guitar. Rhythm guitar. Singer. Songwriter.
Christian co-founded Self Storage with Sunha in 2023. The band has had a few lineups since, but Chris remains undaunted. His blistering leads give Self Storage’s songs a keen edge, adding the power to power pop.
DAVID MCCARTHY
Bass guitar. Songwriter?
New to Self Storage, David wields his thumping bass with assurance and hard-edged grace. He’s partial to bass lines with a little swim to them although staccato has its appeal too.
ERIC CARLSON
Drummer. Wannabe songwriter.
Eric brings a rushing thump to Self Storage, mashing patterns that undergird each composition. He’s new to Self Storage and very happy to be sharing the stage with his bandmates. “I’d been hoping to find a band that had some great original songs. There are a bunch of bands and songs out there, yeah, but Christian and Sunha can really write. Their songs play with the head and they don’t let go. They’ll catch you good. And that’s the whole puzzle and maze, right? I just need to keep up.”
